A recent survey by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), The Network, and The Stepstone Group reveals that nearly a quarter of people are interested in moving abroad for work. Despite global economic uncertainties, London has emerged as the top city globally for work, followed by Amsterdam, Dubai, and New York. The UK ranks fourth as a desirable country for relocation, just behind Australia, the US, and Canada. However, only 15% of UK workers are willing to relocate, compared to the global average of 23%. The most favoured destinations for Brits are the US, Australia, and Canada.
The survey highlights that while many individuals worldwide are open to relocating for better job opportunities, UK workers are relatively less inclined to move abroad. This trend could be influenced by various factors, including economic conditions, quality of life, and career prospects in their home country.
