The builders have started just this week at 2-4 Gloucester Road to redevelop the site of the old Threshers and Master’s Snooker Hall above. I wasn’t sure what the old building was going to be a new supermarket until this morning!! I have watched all week the guys starting work there. The hoarding is an impressive piece of workmanship and colour co-ordinated as well with the old shop front!! They only finished it yesterday but someone has let their feelings be known already, painting NOBODY WANTS A SUPERMARKET HERE!!
